It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margret Carter, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Margret was born on April 22, 1972, in Sandy Springs, Georgia, to Ernest and Sandra Garner. She married the love of her life, Dwight Carter, in the year 25, and together they raised three wonderful children: Steven Shiley (spouse Kayla Shiley), Johnathan Garner, and Alyssa Carter. Margret was also blessed with 10 grandchildren.
Margret was a graduate of Habersham High School, where she excelled both academically and in her extracurricular activities. She went on to pursue a career as a chef, a passion she held dear for most of her life. Margret's culinary skills were admired by all who tasted her creations.
Outside of work, Margret enjoyed spending time in her garden, cultivating beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables. She found solace and peace among her plants, and her garden was a source of joy for her and her loved ones.
Unfortunately, Margret's life was cut short by Dementia, a cruel and unforgiving disease that robbed her of her memories and abilities. Despite this challenge, Margret remained strong and fought with grace and dignity until the very end.
Margret will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and zest for life will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she is loved and cherished by many.
