Rilling 90, of Port Huron, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 surrounded by her family.She was born on November 26, 1926 to Raymond and Luzelle Hall in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.She was a graduate of Capital University with a secretarial degree.  She married Gerald E. Rilling on October 7, 1950 in Mt. Vermon, OH. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2009.Margilaine loved being with her family, she was an active member of the Faith Lutheran Church and was a servant at heart. She loved her church family and neighbors.  She enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and feeding the many critters. One of her favorite past times was driving by the water and watching the freighters.She is survived by her daughters; Karen (Roy) Schultheiss and Debbie (Dan) Hopkins, five grandchildren; Kelley (Brian) VanVliet, Cory (Kelly) Hopkins, Ryan (Alyssa) Schultheiss, Ross (Mari) Schultheiss and Jenae (Tyler) Patrick, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Gerald E. Rilling, her parents; Raymond and Luzelle Hall, and a sister; Marilyn Howard.Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Smith Family Funeral Home - North, from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Huff officiating, visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at church.
