Ms. Roy was born on December 16, 1942 to Lorena in St. Martinville, La. She was called home on September 4, 2017 at the age of 75 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette, LA.Entombment will be held in St. Ann's Catholic Church Mausoleum in Youngsville, LA, Fr. Thomas James Officiating. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Arthur Roy, Jr. and three daughters, Elizabeth Proctor husband Devon, Vanessa Wiltz husband Walter, Jacqueline Legarde husband Wendall, three sons, Arthur, JJJ, wife Pamela, Louis Roy, and Christopher Roy, grandchildren, Racquel Wiltz, Kalain Harris, Miranda Johnson, Brittany Roy, Taylor Landry, La Toya Cody, Cherrelle Castille, Alaina Roy, Ashley Roy, Creighton Legarde, Chantel Brown, and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by one sister Letha James and one brother, Walter Mercier wife Felicia, one sister-in-law Francis Roy, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Lorena Mercier.Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017, 8am until the time of service at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Broussard, La.Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc. 1011 N.
