Lane, Margaret (Day) 101, peacefully passed into the arms of the Heavenly Father on October 25, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was active in Kellogg Elementary School PTA, Boy Scouts, and Hyde Park United Methodist Church. She was born on December 9, 1913, in Cleveland, KS. She was preceded in death by parents, Addie and Charley Day; siblings, Omar, Errette, Gail Ady, Grace Cummings Robinson, Edna Pinkerton, and Gladys Beard; and adoring husband of 57 years, Rex Lane. Survivors: son, Robert (Jacqueline); grandchildren, Timothy (Elise), and Michael (Amee); great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Madeleine, and Olivia; stepgrandson, Cameron Shyrock; sister-in-law, Elenora Lane; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her chosen family at Covenant Care. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 31, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver.
