Margaret JoycePawling - Margaret D. Joyce passed away peacefully at her Pawling residence on November 7, 2016. Margaret was 95 years old.Beloved wife of the late Eugene Joyce, sister of the late Dorothy M. Clum and William R. Diederichs, daughter of the late Mary L. (Donahue) and William E. Diederichs of Pawling, New York.Margaret is survived by many nieces and nephews including Dennis Clum (Donna) of Dublin, OH; Robert Clum (Claire) of Boca Raton, FL; Laura Heymann (Ernest) of Gaithersburg, MD; Eileen Sage of Pawling, NY; Joe Kelly of Glen Ridge, NJ; Charlie Kelly of Saratoga, NY; Mary Underhill of Millerton, NY; Ellen Joyce, Patrick Joyce and William Joyce of Dover Plains, NY; Patricia Buck of Bennington, VT, as well as many grand nieces and nephews.Mrs. Joyce was born on September 15, 1921 as Margaret Diederichs in New York City. As a young child her family moved to Dutchess County. Margaret Joyce was a 90 year resident of Dutchess County and had resided in Pawling for most of her adult life. Margaret is a graduate of Quaker Hill School, Pawling High School and Hakes Business School in White Plains, New York. Margaret worked for IBM in Poughkeepsie for many years and had fond memories of her career at IBM.Family and friends may pay their respects at Horn & Thomes, Inc.
