Margaret Dolores HartleyAsheville - Margaret Dolores Hartley died on Sept 3rd 2017 in Asheville, N.C. at the age of 93. She was born on March 24, 1924 in West New York, N.J. She moved to Tampa, FL. in 1947, where she raised her three children. A long-time employee of the City of Tampa, she also pursued her dream of a college education, graduating from Eckerd College, and earning a masters degree from the University of South Florida at the age of sixty-three. She retired to Asheville, NC where she was a enthusiastic volunteer, voracious reader and indefatigable Scrabble player. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ being her lord and savior, and she now resides with him in heaven. She is survived by her three children, Judy Lambert of Brandon, FL, Patte Myers (Michael) of Asheville, N.C., and Michael Hartley of Seminole, FL, as well as three grandchildren, and two nephews. A memorial service will be held in Florida on a date to be announced.
