Margaret Delores O'BrazaUrbandaleMargaret Delores "Dee" O'Braza, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colfax, Iowa. The family will greet friends following the service at a luncheon at the church. Burial will take place at the Colfax Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the church and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.The daughter of Bernard and Margaret (Hopkins) Craig, Dee was born on October 29, 1933, in Newton. She was united in marriage to Joseph F. O'Braza, April 14, 1951 at St. Peter's Parsonage in Des Moines. Joe and Dee were married 59 wonderful years, raising their 3 sons, Steve (Sandy) O'Braza of Carlisle, Ron (Vickie) O'Braza of Des Moines, and Mike (Donna) O'Braza of Urbandale, in Colfax where they lived most of their lives. Dee always enjoyed the time spent with her 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. After Joe passed on, she spent many memorable moments traveling with her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Christian. Dee practiced nursing at Mercy Hospital, and later at Mercy Hilltop Clinic, where she retired.Among other family members left to honor her memory, is her favorite aunt, Virginia Smith of Colorado, very much loved brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A special thank you to her dear nieces, Tracy and Cyndy, for the love and care shown to Aunt Tiny through the years. Dee was loved dearly and will be missed so very much.Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and 5 sisters, Pat, Mary, Judy, Connie, and Joan, niece Paula, and nephew Craig.
