In Loving memory

Margaret Ann Noetzel, known lovingly as Marge, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 24, 1941, she was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony Sr. and Margaret Tunney. She shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, Robert J. Noetzel, Sr. Together, they built a family rooted in faith, love, and devotion.Marge was the cherished mother of Robert Jr. (Colette), Michael (deceased), William (Mary), Thomas (deceased), and Joseph Sr (Ilenne). She was the beloved grandmother of Robert (Samantha), Brian Sr. (Elizabeth), Katherine (Matthew), Megan, Joseph Jr, James, Miyami, and Lina, and the proud great-grandmother of Charlotte, Zoey, and Brian Jr. Her siblings Carol Grigus (Joe, deceased), Anthony Tunney Jr. (Patty), and Thomas Tunney (Peggy) survive her, along with many nieces and nephews whom she adored and loved dearly. A devoted friend, Marge treasured the lifelong bond she shared with her “club” of Maria High School classmates, whose laughter and companionship enriched her life for decades. She is now reunited with her dear friend, Barbara Rusin, whose memory always remained close to her heart. Marge had a gift for making life a celebration. From the early days in their first home in Alsip to many cherished years in Palos Park, she was the master of parties, bringing joy, warmth, and unforgettable laughter to every gathering. Her greatest pride was her family—she placed each child, grandchild, and great-grandchild on a pedestal, making everyone feel like the most important person in the room when she was with them. Her faith in God carried her through life’s joys and sorrows, especially the profound loss of her sons Michael and Thomas. She found her greatest happiness in the gift of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always cherishing each moment with them. Though she loved many things, her deepest devotion was to her husband, Bob Sr.—the love story that started it all. Her laugh will never be forgotten, nor the love she poured into every life she touched. Marge’s legacy lives on in her family, her friends, and the countless celebrations that will continue in her honor.
