Mareece McLeod, 86, passed on December 09, 2021. He was born to R.B. McLeod and Big Mama in McGhee, Mississippi on October 01, 1935.

He married Bernice Jackson McLeod and they lived together in Miami, Florida. Together they raised 6 children Susan McLeod ,Tyrone McLeod, Penny McLeod, Mareece McLeod Jr, and son Marc Dwayne McLeod whom preceded him in death in the year of 1995. He is also survived by well over 10 granchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.

Mareece graduated from DuSable High School and lived is adult life in Chicago Illinois.

Mareece was a Jack of all Trades until he retired in 1997 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. Mareece loved sports and was known in his neiborhood as the coach for all of the youth in various sports. He was a free spirit and a very cool, relaxed, unbothered content man. Mareece would not have not wanted his family to mourn his death, but celebrate his knew life to come in heaven, as he is home with the Lord. The Mcleod family thanks all for helping celebrate Mareece's life.

Mareece served his country for 15 years in the Air Force and was achieved champion boxer while serving his country.
