Marcy E. Grochowski 1935 - 2016 Marcy E. Grochowski, 80, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016, at United Hospital Systems of Kenosha. She was born on June 30, 1935, in South Milwaukee, Wis., a daughter of the late John and Charlotte Wisniewski Galewski. Marcy was educated in the schools of South Milwaukee and graduated from St. Mary's Academy. On Oct. 23, 1954, she married Joseph Grochowski at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in South Milwaukee, in 1957, they moved to Kenosha. Marcy was an extremely thoughtful, caring and generous person. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, serving in various capacities including the Altar Society, Parish Council, decorating committee and other volunteer positions over her 58 years of parish membership. She loved taking care of her family, especially following her grandchildren's accomplishments and activities. She enjoyed drawing, painting, ceramics and other creative passions. Surviving Marcy are husband Joseph, her four sons: Michael of Kenosha, Patrick (Jacquelyn) of Madison, Wis., Alan (Sue) of Hoffman Estates, Ill., Paul (Barb) of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., two daughters Sue (Scott) Sheaffer of Delafield, Wis., and Debra (John) Kunz of Lake Forest, Ill.; twelve grandchildren: Rachel, Sarah, Gabrielle, Brandon, Dylan, Kira, Joey, Billy, Alec, Jake, Kevin and Kelly; one brother, William (Judy) Galewski of Cape Coral, Fla., and her sister Adrianne (Mike) Gengler of Sturgeon Bay, Wis. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. A visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday June 3, 2016, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
