Marcus Kornegay was born January 16, 1989 in Mount Olive, North Carolina to Madeline and Leroy Kornegay. He attened Southern Wayne High School , where he excelled at his favorite sport, basketball.

In 2011, he met the love of his life Shakira White and they married soon after. Marcus gave his life to Christ and joined Reedeming The Time Ministries underneath the leadership of Pastor Hattie Hopkins. He established his mime ministry underneath the name Team Judah, which moves hundreds of familie.

Marcus leaves behind his memories and spirit with all who knew him: Shakira Ashanti Kornegay his wife; two children Javier Amir Kornegay and Zaria Kornegay(Charlotte, NC) his father Leroy Kornegay(Mount Olive, NC) brother Wayne Kornegay (Goldsboro, NC).
