Marcus Devon Price, affectionately known as “Killa”, was born February 26, 1971, in Folkston, GA, to the late Buster Price and Eloise Baker. He received his formal education from the Nassau County Public School system, graduating from Hilliard High School Class of 1990. He also attended FCCJ College in Jacksonville, FL. He loved playing basketball and the Miami Hurricanes was his favorite sports team.

On Friday August 12, 2022, he heard the master’s voice whisper, “Come unto me and I will give you rest.” Killa was a loving father grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed and always remembered by his devoted family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two siblings, Larry Clark and Tanya Price.

Left to cherish his memory include his children, LaCresha Price Bascom (Terrance), Na’Kayiah Price, Marcus Price, Jr. Nyela Price and Nya’lani Price; grandchildren, Amere Bascom, Rhyan Bascom, and Kei’auri Boger; siblings, Veneral Thompson (Alphonso), Jack Cherry, Kenneth Cherry (Allison), Stanford Dasher Schenna Jordan (Deric), Effrin Baker (Jamie), Dorcel Price, Cheryl Dangle, Glenda McNeely, Denise McNeely, Lauri Price, and Roger Price; an uncle, Ivin Baker; aunts, Patricia Smiley and Sally Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Fluker Funeral Home, 985 Ossie Davis Pkwy, Waycross GA., are in charge of final arrangements.
