We mourn the passing of Marcos O. Alvarez, born on September 23, 1982, and passed away on June 8, 2023, in Orlando, FL. Marcos was a devoted husband, son, father, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, son-in-law, nephew and member of his church community. He left an unforgettable impression on everyone who knew him. He was the beloved son of Nelson Alvarez and Abigail Irizarry, who adored him beyond measure. Marcos's life changed dramatically when he met the love of his life, Luz Alvarez. They were married in the year 2006 and were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Viviane and Veronica. He was also a cherished grandfather who loved his grandson, Kairo, and a fun uncle to his nieces and nephews.Marcos devoted himself to his Christian faith and was a long-time member and Media Coordinator at Faith Assembly of God, where he tirelessly served and loved his church family. Marcos was known for his generous spirit, kind-heartedness, and unwavering devotion to his family and loved ones. It was clear that he was destined to bring joy and laughter to the world. He was a lover of all things silly, and he never missed an opportunity to make a joke or play a prank. On June 8, 2023, Marcos lost his battle to cancer, and was called home to the Lord.He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, and his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, supportive brother, a cherished grandfather, a helpful son-in-law, an exceptional brother-in-law, an unforgettable fun-cle, a kind friend, a faithful servant of God, and an essential member of his church community.
