Marcia Franklin, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 24, 2024, in her home in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born on November 1, 1954, to Johnathan and Ann in Birmingham. Marcia married her loving husband Richard in 1970 and together they raised three children: Bryan Franklin (spouse Robin Lauer), Anthony Franklin (spouse Jennifer Franklin), and Rachel Franklin.

After graduating from Bessemer City School in 1972, Marcia began her career at Jimez’s Seafood where she worked diligently until her retirement in 2004. She was known for her hard work, dedication, and kindness towards her colleagues.

Marcia was a devoted grandmother to her six grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished. She took great joy in spending time with them and was always there to offer guidance and love.

Throughout her life, Marcia was known for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
