With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Manuel De Leon Vasquez Jr., born on October 3, 1945, in Donna, Texas, and peacefully passed away on August 3, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 79, surrounded by his family.
Manuel was a devoted husband to Anna Maria Vasquez for 58 years. Together, they raised three children: Deceased son named David Vasquez, Diana Deiber Vasquez (spouse Erik),Cynthia Qu Vasquez (spouse Aj). Manuel was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren(one deceased) and three great grandchildren.
Manuel loved spending time with his family, listening to country and gospel music, and enjoyed xing just about anything. His family brought him great joy, and he treasured every moment with them.
Manuel will be dearly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
