We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Malik Cater, who left us too soon on February 24, 2025, in Sacramento, California. He was born on May 2, 2004, to his parents Trey Carter and Cecilia Lee.

Malik was a talented student at Sac high school , where he excelled in his studies and made many lasting friendships. He had a passion for basketball and could often be found on the court perfecting his skills.

Despite his young age, Malik lived life to the fullest and always brought laughter and joy to those around him. He had a larger-than-life personality and a smile that could light up a room.

Unfortunately, Malik's time with us was cut short due to an overdose. While we mourn his loss, we also remember the countless happy memories he brought into our lives.

Malik had no children of his own, but he will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. May he rest in peace, knowing the impact he made in his short time on earth.
