Makayla Andrus, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 19.

She was known for her infectious laugh, her love of music, and her incredible dance moves. Makayla lived life to the fullest and brought joy to all who knew her.

Despite her young age, Makayla had a zest for life that was truly inspiring. She was always up for a new adventure and never let anything hold her back.

Her friends will remember her as a loyal and caring companion, always ready with a listening ear or a funny joke to lift their spirits.

Though she may be gone, Makayla's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Rest in peace, Makayla, and keep dancing wherever you are.
