She married Deon and Bal Fua in 2002 and they lived together in Boksburg, Gauteng. Together they raised 2 children Chris, Charlotte.
Madelein graduated from Boksburg elementary in 1990.
Madelein worked at South African Farmers Union and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. In 2002, Madelein was honored with the Awarded the North American Farmers Almanac.
