It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maddison Buckner, who was born on July 6, 1992, in Baltimore, Maryland. Maddison tragically passed away on December 21, 2025, at the young age of 33.

She was the cherished daughter of David Buckner and the late Sandra Buckner-Rice. Maddison was a woman of rare and selfless kindness, known for a "heart of gold" that she shared freely with everyone she met. Despite her own struggles, she greeted the world with a smile and a courage that inspired all who knew her.

Her memory will be kept alive by her father, David Buckner; her brother, Erick Buckner; and her step-sisters, Ashly Rice and Koren Rice. Maddison’s greatest joy was being an aunt; she leaves behind three nieces and two nephews who were the lights of her life.

She will forever be remembered by all for her warmth, compassion, and cheerful spirit.

Rest in peace, dear Maddison. You will never be forgotten.
