Mrs Maddie Stevens  was born October 27, 1941, in Arkansas, and had resided in Macon Georgia for 54 years. She was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church for many years, serving on the Usher Board, One of the head vocalist in the choir  and a Deaconess. Her husband, James B Steve preceded her in death after 64 years of marriage. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors are her daughters, Sam Stevens,  Monica Stevens, Patrice Stevens-James, and Ulyss Stevens. 8 grand children and 21 great grandchildren.
