Mable Fields, 88, passed Monday, May 28, 2018. Mable was born to Leroy Edwards, and Jessie Thompson, June 10, 1929, in Gilmer, Texas.

Mable graduated from Gilmer High School in 1947 and received her degree. She married William Fields in 1957 and worked at Pilgrim's Pride Chicken until she got sick.

Mable is survived by 8 children: Kathy Fields (Mable/William Fields), Mary Fields (Mable/William Fields ), Teresa Fields (Mable/William Fields), Joe Fields (Mable/William Fields), Billy Fields (Mable/William Fields), Thomas Fields (Mable/William Fields), Buster Fields (Mable/William Fields), and Sony Fields (Mable/William Fields ). She also is survived by 17 grandchildren.
