Mabel V. Diem1926 - 2015Mabel V. Diem, 89, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Kenosha passed away on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at the Westside Village in Indianapolis. Mabel was born on March 15, 1926, in Wisconsin to Ira and Isabel (Wallgren) Gilbertson. She worked for many years at Chrysler Automotive. She was a very religious woman who attended services regularly. Mabel's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.She was preceded in death by, her parents, a sister, Delores Larson, and her cousin, Darlene Sword.Mabel is survived by, eight children, Bonita Alvarez, Gene Gessert, John Gessert, Gerrie Mallak, Janet Principe, Glen Gessert, Teresa Garcia and David Gessert; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister, Corinne Davis her aunt, Florence Larsen as well as other family and friends.Funeral services for Mabel will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
