Glienke, Lynn KarasLynn Karas Glienke, age 69 of Appleton, passed away on June 21, 2017. Lynn was born on November 21, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Robert and Beatrice (Karas) Raymond. She was a 1965 graduate of Waukesha High School and a 1970 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. She was a longtime employee of Realco where she worked as a Real Estate Administrator, retiring on June 1, 2012. On June 18, 1983 she married Peter J. Glienke in Elm Grove Wisconsin and they recently celebrated 34 years together. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Appleton. Family was very important to Lynn and she greatly loved being "Grammy".She will be sadly missed by her husband Peter, daughter Kara (Jonathan) Hook and their children, Coleman and Celia Hook of Lenexa Kansas, son Adam (Alicia) Garbe and their son Cameron of Allen Texas, brother Kevin Raymond of Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin, sister Shawn Kerlin of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, stepsons Carl Glienke and family and Christopher Glienke and family as well as other relatives and friends.In keeping with Lynn's wishes, private services were held.
