It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Gardener, a beloved individual who touched the lives of many. Lynn was born on June 20, 1966, in Los Angeles, California, and left this world on October 9, 2023.
Throughout her life, Lynn was known for her radiant smile, her infectious laughter, and her kind heart. She was a true embodiment of love, compassion, and generosity. Lynn possessed an unwavering dedication to helping others, always going above and beyond to lend a helping hand.
As a resident of Los Angeles, Lynn embraced the vibrant and diverse culture of the city. She had a deep appreciation for the arts and was a regular supporter of local theaters, galleries, and music venues. Her enthusiasm for creativity inspired those around her and encouraged an open-mindedness that she will forever be remembered for.
Professionally, Lynn made a mark as an accomplished architect, leaving an indelible impact on the city's skyline. Her keen eye for design and her commitment to excellence led her to create architectural masterpieces that will be admired for generations to come. Lynn had an unmatched ability to transform ideas into tangible structures, each bearing her unique artistic touch.
Outside of work, Lynn was an avid nature enthusiast. She found solace in the great outdoors, regularly indulging in hiking trips, camping adventures, and even lending a hand for local conservation efforts. She believed in the importance of preserving our environment for future generations and dedicated herself to making a positive difference in this regard.
One of the most admirable traits that Lynn possessed was her devotion to family and friends. She cherished every moment spent with loved ones, ensuring that they felt valued and appreciated. Lynn had an astounding ability to bring people together, creating a warm and welcoming environment wherever she went. Her gatherings were filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and a genuine sense of unity.
Lynn Gardner leaves behind her loving parents, John and Elizabeth Gardner, her beloved three daughters , Mikayla, Mikiya, and Miracle Gardner. Her sister Gwen Gardner and her brother and sister- in law Marquis Gardner (Delarenta Goldsmith). Her lover Charles Adams and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
She will also be dearly missed by her close friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Lynn's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
To honor her life and legacy, a memorial service will be held on October 26th, 2023, at Rose Hills Mortuary in Whittier. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Nature Conservancy, an organization that Lynn held close to her heart.
Although Lynn may no longer be with us in the physical realm, her spirit and her impact will forever shine brightly. She will be remembered as a beacon of light, inspiring others to live their lives with compassion, creativity, and love.
Directly after funeral services we will announce the location and time of the repast, where we will have food and refreshments and an continued celebration of life, we all know Lynn loved to party so will keep her memories alive.
