Lydia Cortesi, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 1, 2024, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, due to Acute Respiratory Failure. She was born in Greenville, Mississippi on March 15, 1941, to Fred and Eunice Roberts.

Lydia is survived by her two loving sons, Tony Cortesi and Vincent Cortesi, as well as her three cherished grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She worked as a Nurse and retired in 2015 after a long and fulfilling career.

Lydia's passions in life included gardening, spending time with her family, and caring for others. Her nurturing spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, compassion, and love.
