With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Luther Williams, who was born on March 17, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York. Luther passed away on January 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Luther was the beloved son of Renee Williams and Agatha Thompson. He was a devoted father to his three children, Tyson, Latoya, and Shirley. Luther was also a doting grandfather to two grandchildren.

Luther will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his love of cooking, and his passion for storytelling. He had a way of making everyone feel at ease and could brighten any room with his presence.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but we take comfort in knowing that Luther is now reunited with his parents and watching over his family from above.
