It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucille Taylor, who was born on September 3, 1950, in Gainesville, Florida, United States. Lucille passed away on December 20, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Lucille was the daughter of Wallace and Inez Taylor. In 1992, she married the love of her life, Winston, and they shared many wonderful years together. Although they did not have children of their own, Lucille was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Lucille dedicated her life to serving others. She worked for the Georgia Department of Corrections for many years before retiring in 2022. In her retirement, she continued to give back by volunteering with the American Cancer Society organization.

Lucille had a passion for fly fishing and spent countless hours enjoying the peacefulness of the water. Her love for the outdoors brought her joy and serenity throughout her life.

Unfortunately, Lucille's life was cut short by thyroid cancer. She fought bravely until the end, showing immense strength and courage.

Lucille will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
