Lucille was born on March 8, 1924 in Marshfield, to Michael and Theresa (Bohman) Stangl and graduated from high school in Marshfield in 1942. She was united in marriage to Walter D. Hebert on June 7, 1949 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. He died on February 12, 1994. Lucille was a lifelong resident of Marshfield and after her education was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory until her marriage. She and Walter farmed in the Town of Day. Together they raised 3 children; Celeste (Roger) Kyle, Marlea (Patrick) Lescynski and Russell Hebert, all of Marshfield. Lucille was a "city girl" who married a farmer. She loved the farm life, chores, gardening, homemaker's club and cooking for her family and relatives. In her younger years she "could do anything" and enjoyed dancing polkas and especially waltzes. She thoroughly enjoyed raising her family. In retirement, she and Walter moved back to the "city" and resided in her family home on North Cherry Avenue. She then worked at Figi's for a number of years. Lucille also enjoyed playing bingo and taking bus trips to local casinos. She was a member of the Lady Knights of Columbus in Marshfield and was a table waiter for many years. She is survived by her children, six grandchildren; Shawn Kyle, Sierra Vista, AZ, Travis (Tami Wolff) Lescynski, Tracy (John) Seehafer, Trisha Hebert, all of Marshfield, Marissa Hebert and Ryan Hebert, along with their mother, Ellen Menard, all of Wisconsin Rapids. Her great grandchildren are Griffin Lescynski, Trevor, Allie and Ava Seehafer and Mariah and Dominik Keding. She is further survived by her brother, Ervin M. (Mary Alice) Stangl of Marshfield and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Peter J. Stangl. The family wishes to thank the staff of Atrium Post Acute Care and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care given to Lucille. Your kindness and respect will never be forgotten and always remain appreciated. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
