Lucia LupercioDec. 13, 1933 - July 19, 2017VisaliaAfter 83 wonderful years of walking this earth, Lucia (Carrillo) Lupercio, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2017. Lucia was born on December 13, 1933, in Etiwanda, CA, to Luis and Lorenza Carrillo. Lucia spent her earlier years in Anaheim, CA, and moved with the family to Visalia, CA, on, or about, 1949. She attended Visalia middle school (current Redwood High School) and later graduated from Visalia Oaks High School (current Mt. Whitney High) in 1954. She later married, had 5 children, and subsequently divorced. Her children were her pride and joy. She settled in Woodlake CA, where she lived and raised her kids. As the kids got older, she went back to school and became certified to become a home care provider. Prior to retirement, she worked at Kaweah Delta private home care for over 20 years. She loved helping people in need. Family was also important to her and she loved visiting her brother and sisters on her downtime. Lucia is survived by her daughters, Veronica, Delia, Laura (Mike), and her son, Robert (Rosie), and her grandchildren, Chris (Amanda), Brice, Parker, and her great-grandchild, Serenity. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Alice. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 27, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Millers Memorial Chapel (1120 West Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA 93291), with rosary at 6:00 pm. Mass will be held at St. Mary's (608 N. Church St., Visalia, CA 93291) at 10:30 am, Friday, July 28 follow with Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery.Tributes and condolences may be made at www.millerchapel.com.
