Born in Tampico, Veracruz, Mexico, Lucia was the fifth of eight siblings—four brothers and three sisters—whose bond she treasured throughout her life. In 1998, she journeyed to the United States with her family, embracing a new chapter with grace and resilience.

Her viewing was held on August 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM in Colton, California, where family and friends gathered to honor her memory. Her funeral will take place on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM, a final farewell to a woman whose life was a testament to love, strength, and grace.
