Spencer, LouiseLouise Spencer, 88, of Conklin, NY, a wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother has now passed into the loving care of our Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 31, 1928 in Montrose, PA to the late Walter and Charlotte Wood. Her husband of 69 years, Walter Spencer survives. She is also survived by her three children, Clifford Spencer, Allen Spencer, and Nancy Dotter, six grandchildren, Rebecca Bogusz, Christopher Dotter, Daniel Spencer, Kyle Dotter, Patrick Spencer, and Sean Spencer, three great-grandchildren, Katie Bogusz, Edward Bogusz, and Amelia Bogusz, brother, Luther Wood, two sisters, Shirley Yenalevitch and Janet Wood. Louise was the oldest daughter of a family of nine. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Ray, Jerry, Dick, Horace and Ed Wood. She will be always remembered for her care and compassion to others. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home in Montrose, PA with the Rev. Robert C. Ford of Elisha's Home Ministry officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, PA.
