Louise ButtsMadisonMrs. Louise R. Butts passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Madison, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:00 am at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at Lakewood Memorial Park.Mrs. Butts was born on January 20, 1924 to the late Marlin Lamar Rogers and Ruby Taylor Rogers. She was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.Mrs. Butts is preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Butts; her parents; brothers, Marlin Lamar Rogers, Jr. and John W. Rogers. She is survived by her children, Ladene Strong (Jim) and Johnny Butts; brothers, William, Hugh and Roy Rogers; grandchildren, Mandy Hilsmier (Brad), Richard Strong (Melissa) and Douglas Strong (Erika) and eight great grandchildren.
