GRADY, LOUIS JOSEPH JR,88, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.He was born on November 10, 1928, in St. Joseph, MO, to the late Louis and Audrey Parish Grady. He attended St. Louis University before he was drafted to serve in the Korean War, and upon returning completed his education at Butler University.He enjoyed a long career with Burroughs Corporation, starting in St. Louis and moving to Louisville in 1972. He was deeply devoted to his faith and his family. He was a true gentleman and exuded kindness to all. He lived every day with an attitude of gratitude. He was an avid golfer at Midland Trail Golf Club and a member of St. Margaret Mary Church.He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Grady; sisters, Mary Ann Paulson and Jane Bridges; and brother, James Grady. He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Brad) Cecil and Melissa Ensch; grandchildren, Ashley (Everett) Nelson, Brittany Cecil, Alex (Elizabeth) Cecil, Patrick Cecil, Daniel Cecil, Emily Ensch, Ben Ensch and Claire Ensch; and great-grandchildren Jack and Emma Nelson. He is also survived by his beloved siblings, Geraldine McLaughlin, Patricia (Thurman) Noel, Peggy (Dave) Scheper and Michael (Judy) Grady; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held Friday, March 10 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Rd., from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at St. Margaret Mary Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road at 1 p.m. A private burial will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery.
