It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Fussell, who was born on February 27, 1947, in Jonesboro, Georgia, and passed away on May 4, 2024. He was the beloved son of Quincy and Ruby Fussell and the loving spouse of Cathy Fussell, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage since 2021.

Louis was a devoted father to his four children: Kenneth Graham, Bernadette Worsham, Shundra Renee Mondy, and Louis Fussell II. He was also a cherished grandfather to 10 grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

Louis dedicated many years of service to Broward Transit, retiring in 2011. His commitment to his work was paralleled by his dedication to his country, having served honorably in the US Army.

Beyond his professional life, Louis found joy in several hobbies. He was an avid reader of the Bible, a skilled pool player, and loved spending time watching movies with his boys. His warm presence and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
