Lorrie Thorpe, age 63, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, passed away on October 10, 2025, due to natural causes. She was born on June 1, 1962, to the late James Pettigrew and Barbara Buckner.

Lorrie is survived by her loving husband, Stan Thorpe, whom she married and shared a wonderful life, With the love of five wonderful children – Lee Thomas Jr, Kavita Marie Thomas, Keith Pettigrew, LaVita Pettigrew, and Regina Pettigrew. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren.

Lorrie attended North Junior High and Fdsh High School, where she excelled academically and made lifelong friendships. In her free time, she enjoyed reading books, solving crossword puzzles, and watching movies with her children.

Lorrie will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved. Rest in peace, Lorrie.
