Lorraine L. Shumway1926 - 2016Lorraine L. Shumway, 89, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. She was born on June 14, 1926, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Peter and Bessie (Ruzicka) Aidinovich. She was educated in the schools of Chicago. She married Wayne Shumway on Aug. 25, 1943, in Kenosha at the First United Methodist Church. Lorraine worked as an inspector for Abbott Labs for 21 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kenosha, and she loved to knit and do word search puzzles.Survivors include her son, Brian Lee Shumway of Kenosha and a brother, Louis Aidinovich of Chicago.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne on Dec. 18, 2010, two brothers George and Emil Aidinovich. Visitation will be Sunday, April 24, 2016, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services and on Monday April 25, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church, 919-60th Street from 9 a.m. -10 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorials for the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, or to the family would be greatly appreciated.
