Gelo, Lorraine Marie PrattLorraine Marie Pratt Gelo, age 70, of Raleigh NC, died peacefully on March 11, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and her faithful rescue dog Duke as she entered into the eternal kingdom of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Lorraine was born on April 23, 1946 in Binghamton NY to Ruth and Clarence Pratt. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Donald Gelo, daughter Laura Meagley,( husband Sean), grandchildren Meredith and Matthew, Cortland NY. Son Jon Gelo, (wife Sara), Jupiter FL. Two surviving sisters, Beverly Parker (husband Robert), Austin TX, and Joan Kipp (husband D. Russell), Friendsville PA, and sister-in-law, Annette Ford (husband Robert), Binghamton NY. Lorraine's family will receive friends Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609.
