Darling, Lorraine BeverlyIt is with great sadness that the family of Lorraine Beverly Darling announce her passing after a period of declining health and illness. Lorraine, age 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born on October 27, 1951 in Binghamton, NY to John Allen Morehouse Sr. and Beverly Jean Lynch Morehouse. She was a 1969 graduate of Dryden High School and a student at TC3. Lorraine was an avid reader, jazz and music lover, lover of the outdoors, especially spending time basking in the sun surrounded by flowers and gardens. Her life was marked by energy, determination, joy, and a love of beauty and simplicity. She is survived by her two daughters Gidgett (Darling) Ingalls (husband, Matt) and Ginger (Darling) Trudgen (husband, Chris); her five grandchildren Alexandria, Audrey, Morgan, Lily and Gavin; her four siblings, Charlotte (Bob) McAnulty, Pamela Morehouse, John Morehouse Jr., Dennis Morehouse; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Lorraine's life will be held on Monday, June 19th at 1pm. Family and friends are invited to Perkins Funeral Home on 55 West Main Street, Dryden, NY.
