Lorie Lynn Ammons, age 59, Scammon, Kansas, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022.

She was born March 8, 1963, in Chanute, KS to Robert Kauffman and Florence Welch Kauffman.

Lorie married William Ammons on May 8, 1999, in Columbus, KS. She worked for AJL Machine Shop in Pittsburg, KS. as an office manager

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by three daughters, Ashley Marie Kuhn and husband, John Kuhn, Dayton TX, Kayla Lynn James, Columbus KS, Tasha Elaine Dean and husband, Jason, Pittsburg, KS; three sons, Christopher Lee Titman, Kincaid, KS, and Jeremy Schultz, Crestline, KS; fourteen grandchildren, whom she loved very much; and one brother, Russell Kauffman, Chanute. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Crystal Kauffman and Debra Schultz.

Private funeral services will be held.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus.
