We are gathered here today to celebrate the life and legacy of Lorena Rivera Ortiz, who shuffled off this mortal coil on October 28, 2025, at the ripe old age of 36. Born on June 6, 1989, Lorena was a force to be reckoned with in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Lorena was known for her sharp wit, infectious laughter, and love of all things bizarre. She had a knack for finding the humor in even the most mundane of situations, and could often be found cracking jokes and making those around her smile.

One of Lorena's greatest joys in life was her son, Fernando Gonzalez. She was fiercely protective of him, and made sure he knew how much he was loved every single day. Fernando was her pride and joy, and she often joked that he was the reason she never had any gray hairs.

Lorena was a lover of all things quirky and strange, from her eclectic taste in music to her ever-growing collection of novelty socks. She had a knack for finding beauty in the absurd, and had a knack for turning the ordinary into something truly extraordinary.

Although Lorena may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. So let us raise a glass (of her favorite wine, of course) and toast to a life well-lived, full of laughter, love, and a healthy dose of weirdness.
