Lora West

May 16, 1956 - July 1, 2023

Lora West, a beloved resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 67. Born on May 16, 1956, to Philip A. and Patricia (Pati) I. Harvey in Frankfurt Germany. Lora grew up in Alamogordo, NM. where she graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1974. Las Cruces, NM. is where she called home for most of her adult life.

Lora West is survived by her siblings, Philip (Skip) A. Harvey Jr. and wife Donna of N. Las Vegas, NV., Sandra L. Simpkins and husband Rusty of N. Las Vegas, NV., Paul R. Harvey and wife Lori of Boulder City, NV.; Also left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Audra L. Rodgers of Las Cruces, NM., Patricia R. Jimenez and husband Benjamin of Santa Teresa, NM., Lisa M. Eorio of Las Vegas, NV.,8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Lora was an avid bowler in the 80's. She also learned to play the piano from her mother and enjoyed it immensely. Friday nights you could find Lora donning her wranglers and boots dancing the night away at Desert Sun, Cowboys, or Rodeo in Las Cruces. She could bake a mean apple pie!

A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Masonic Cemetery, 760 S. Compress Rd.
