On May 24, 2024, High Point, North Carolina, and the world lost a beloved member of the community, Lonzo Davis. Born on March 26, 1951, Lonzo was the son of Nathaniel Funderburk and Ethel Mae Bradley. He was married to Geraldine Davis for 52 years and together they raised five children: Jennifer, Erica, Nicole, Alonzo, and Christopher.
Lonzo was a dedicated employee of the City of High Point, where he worked diligently for many years. In his spare time, Lonzo enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys as an avid fan. He was also known for his quick wit and love of telling jokes, bringing laughter and joy to those around him.
Lonzo leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. Though his presence may no longer be with us, his memory will live on forever in our hearts. donations are welcome
