Lonny Ben Knenner was born on July 28, 1994 in Austin, Texas. He passed away on July 16, 2019 in Austin, Texas. When Lonny was five, he and his parents moved to Dickinson, ND and remained there until Lonny graduated from Dickinson High School. In high school Lonny met his life long best friend Sam Leftey. After high Lonny and Sam both went to Texas State University and both got a degree in Elementary Education. After graduating college the couple moved to Austin, Texas and got jobs at the same school. They were married on October 2, 2016 in Austin, Texas at there home. Lonny loved everything outdoors, anything on the water, hanging with his dog Zoom, doing puzzles, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family. He was also very passionate about teaching and loved it more than anything.

Lonny is preceded in death by wife Sam, his parents John and Livv, and his two cousins Filip and Timothy. 

Lonny is survived by his grandparents Genifer and Harry, and John and Sara, mother-in-law Sue, father-in-law Troy, sister-in-law Carol, his aunt's Abby and Faith, Uncle's Myron, Harlem, Harold, Kyler and Josh, and many cousins.
