STANLEY - Age 82, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at her home under the care of St. Josephs Hospice. She was born on February 13, 1934 in Milwaukee the daughter of the late Earl and Loretta (Scherkenbach) Fohr. Lois graduated from Polaski High and then married Peter Fred Keeku on January 10, 1953. The couple lived in the Franksville area for many years. Lois worked for the Post Office, Splinters Pickle Factory, Boston Store retail store and was a homemaker. After her husband died in 2001 she moved to the Stanley area where she has resided since. Lois enjoyed knitting/ crocheting, swimming at the Stanley/Boyd School, spending time at the family cabin, was an active member of 4-H, the Ladies Aid group at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Most of all Lois loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Peter (Janet Ford) Keeku of Florida, Paul (Kelly) Keeku, Phillip (Debra) Keeku, Lisa (Lee) Woelbing and Guy (Sandra) Keeku all Franksville, June (Robin) Holler and Michael (Jean) Keeku both of Union Grove, Earl (Debra) Keeku of West Allis and Karl (Jaimie) Keeku of Stanley, 30 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and one sister, Lila (Gordon) Voss of Oak Creek. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter and a brother Roy Fohr. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, July 16th at Our Hope Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. Visitation will be from 1PM until time of service next Saturday at the Church. Inurnment will take place at 11AM on Saturday, September 3rd Forest Hill Cemetery-Oak Creek.
