Lloyd Cortez Sr., age 96, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024, due to natural causes.

He was born on January 30, 1928, and lived a fulfilling life filled with love and laughter. Lloyd was a devoted husband and a loving father to his two children, Linda Martinez and Veronica Melancon.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family. Lloyd's legacy lives on through his children and four grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to bring joy and warmth to those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
