  • A life well lived

    Lizzie Broaden, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on August 24, 1955, she was the beloved daughter of Henry Broaden Sr. and Everline Broaden.

    Lizzie was married to the love of her life, Donald Brice Sr., in 1985, and together they raised six wonderful children : Danyell, JJ who precedes her in death as infant, Jermalyn, Temeka, Artrice, Donald Jr., and Alisha. She was also a proud grandmother to twenty three grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. They divorced years later, Donald preceded Lizzie in death on July 27 2024 they remained in a beautiful friendship up until his passing. Lizzie leave behind sisters, Martha Ann Broaden, Katherine Todd, Evelyn Broaden, Shirley Mae Mccraw, two sisters and two Brothers and 3 granddaughters who preceded her in death Joann Broaden, Marie Brider, Charles Broaden (black man) and Thomas Lee Broaden (TL) Brothers; Henry Broaden Jr. (June) Ronnie Broaden, Donald Ray and Gary Brider (denot) and many nieces and nephews

    She attended Thomas Jefferson High School and was known for her love of gambling at the casino and playing card games with family and her children. Lizzie brought joy and laughter to all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

    Rest in peace, Lizzie. You will be deeply missed.

    August 24th @

    at 2:00 p.m.

    @ The Rocky Ridge Park

    (16200 E Mississippi Ave, Aurora, CO 80017)

    The colors are Pink, White, Gray and Black and purple.

    If you can please bring balloons for a balloon release.

    There will be food, drinks and reminiscing on good times.
