Lisa M. MillerLisa M. Miller, 56, of Middlebury, died at 7:15 pm on Sunday, September 10, at Elkhart Hospice House after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 15, 1961 in Rensselaer, to James and Wilma (Yoder) Laffoon. On October 30, 2003 in Middlebury, she married Harley Dean Miller, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband is a daughter, Alisha Beard of Elkhart; son, Nicholas (Julie) Yoder of Decatur; three grandchildren, three step grandchildren; two sisters, Cindy (Shane) Patterson of Kentland, Cathy (Gene) Troyer of Middlebury. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Renee Marcott. Lisa had worked for ABT Company in Middlebury, Weldy's Animal Clinic in Wakarusa and as a Toll Road attendant. She enjoyed horseback riding; camping and time with her family. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 8:00 pm on Wednesday September 13, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 14, also at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Pastor Kent Miller. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Bristol. Memorials may be given to the Shriners, Elkhart County or the Center for Hospice Care of Elkhart.  Online condolences may be sent at millerstewartfuneralhome.com.
