We are saddened to announce the passing of Lisa Simmons of Champaign, Illinois, on August 29, 2024. She was born on May 10, 1963, to Lawrence Ray and Doris E. Simmons. Lisa is survived by her ex-husband Otha Simmons, and her four children: Joshua Stebbins Sr, Brandy Simmons, Hailey Simmons, and Otha Simmons Jr.

Lisa was a beloved member of the community, known for her dedication to her work at Monicals Pizza. In her free time, she enjoyed hobbies such as reading, writing, walking, shopping, and spending time in small group settings.

Lisa will be dearly missed by her family and friends, as well as her seven grandchildren. Though her presence will be greatly missed, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace after battling cancer.

Rest in peace, Lisa. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
