Lisa Lynn Anderson Obituary

Jun 16, 1962 - Jan 03, 2023

This obituary is administered by:

Lisa Lynn Anderson, 60, passed away on January 3, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital after battling COPD and other health issues.

She was born to Donna Lou Carter on June 16, 1962 and was raised in Hills, Iowa.

She is survived by her two daughters, Brianna Lynn Swift and Emily Dawn Swift alongside her sisters Kimberly Carter-Plank (William) and Dawn Carter (Scott Martinez). She also leaves behind her brother Todd Carter (Dee) and numerous nieces and nephews. She joins her brother, Randy Anderson, in death.

Lisa owned her own cleaning business and proved herself as incredibly hardworking and dedicated to her work. She served as a crossing guard for Van Allen Elementary for ten years where she formed great relationships and expressed her kindness and compassion on a daily basis.

Although Lisa loved her daughters more than anything, she was also an avid animal lover and she leaves behind several dear pets. Her empathetic nature attracted animals and it was clear they sensed her as a warm, loving individual.

Her family will be arranging a memorial service come springtime where more information will be announced then.
