It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Wilson, born on May 6, 1964, in Coldspring, Texas and passed away on March 27, 2025.

Lisa was the beloved daughter of Robert Mitcham and Lois Wilson. She was also the loving spouse of Henry Payne, whom she married in 2001 Together, they had three children: Christopher Wilson (spouse Dominique Morgan), John Wilson, and Savannah Wilson. Lisa was a devoted grandmother to her five grandchildren.

Lisa lived a full and vibrant life, always putting her family first. She was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lisa passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Although she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday April 5th, 2025 at 10 AM at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas.
